Outside Sales

The Kurt J. Lesker Company, founded in 1954, is a dynamic, rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor of thin film deposition systems and components for the vacuum technology market. With locations across North America, Europe, and Asia, we are a global supplier to industries, universities, and government laboratories. Our products and technologies are used for various research and production applications, including: semiconductor manufacturing, automotive coatings, night vision goggles, and solar cells.

The Kurt J. Lesker Asian branch was established in Shanghai, China in the year of 2007. Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a qualified Vacuum Products Technical Support for our Shanghai, China location. This position requires someone who can better understand Chinese and English having good communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

• To accomplish sales annual goals.
• To maintain current customers, especially the management of key customers
• To develop new customers
• To maintain company brand and marketing price system
• To improve the degree of customers' satisfaction
• To research information on competitors and marketing trends
• To hand in sales reports and marketing reports to Sales Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Technical degree in one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics, Major in Vacuum technology and related are preferred.
• Sales and negotiation skills
• High motivation to win business and high sensitivity to customers' needs
• Knowledge of OEM process equipment and their requirements for vacuum, instruments and other related parts.
• Experience in managing major customer accounts and negotiating with key accounts.
• Experience in making products presentations
• Ability to work under pressure and willing to travel
• Good interpersonal skills, both on an individual and team basis
• Excellent written and verbal English skills and good computer skills
• Strong business understanding and good knowledge of competitors' products and activities.
• Work requires the individual to work a flexible schedule
• Positive attitude and good initiative in dealing with challenges and opportunities, high team-work spirit
