Mechanical Technician Supervisor

The Kurt J. Lesker Company, founded in 1954, is a dynamic, rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor of thin film deposition systems and components for the vacuum technology market. With locations across North America, Europe, and Asia, we are a global supplier to industries, universities, and government laboratories. Our products and technologies are used for various research and production applications, including: semiconductor manufacturing, automotive coatings, night vision goggles, and solar cells.

The Kurt J. Lesker Asian branch was established in Shanghai, China in the year of 2007. Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a qualified Vacuum Products Technical Support for our Shanghai, China location. This position requires someone who can better understand Chinese and English having good communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

• Preparation, bonding and cleaning of all standard and non-standard materials required by KJLC
• Supervise and train personnel
• Inspection, cleaning and packaging of products to meet KJLC quality requirements and procedures
• Plan and schedule workload and personnel to achieve highest efficiencies and meet on-time delivery requirements.
• Drafting and implementation of procedures for continuous improvement to support area job functions and responsibilities in accordance with company-wide requirements
• Insure accurate processing of documentation and transactions in ERP system
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment
• Insure product integrity throughout the process
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in management, quality or related field
• 2 year supervisor experience
• Ability to use packaging and inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong computer skills to support job requirements
• Good English and Chinese communications' skills, CET 6 preferred
• Healthy body and ability to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills, both on an individual and team basis
• Positive attitude and good initiative in dealing with challenges and opportunities, high teamwork spirit
