FABMATE® crucible liners can maintain the same level of performance across multiple runs. However, the performance is material and process dependent. We know of several metals (Fe, Si, Ni) that are likely to crack the crucible after one run. Crucible liners are consumable parts and should be replaced when performance or integrity of the liner is compromised.
