Frequently Asked Questions

It is difficult to mill plates to thickness and ensure that they are flat to tight tolerances. This is because the miling operation causes plates to bow slightly. In order to prevent this, the plates can be ground instead of milled. This will help maintain flatness to tight tolerances. Keep in mind this is much more expensive than milling, but has much better results.
