Frequently Asked Questions

An ambient unit is meant for applications that are used at ambient temperature and do NOT have an internal heating block. A heated unit has an internal heating block and is meant to be used for applications that are at elevated temperatures. The heated unit should have an internal temperature compensation that is higher than the process temperature so that there will less (if any) condensation on the diaphragm and maximum accuracy as there will be less temperature drift.
