316LN is a general purpose SS, nominal 18% Chromium, 9% Nickel and 2-3% Molybdenum. The balance is mostly Iron. It has a  wider range of resistance to corrosives than 304L SS. L = reduced carbon (<.03%). N = higher Nitrogen (increases strength, lowers magnetic permeability).
