MD40H is a high-torque, medium-stiffness rotary drive. Configured with a hollow body, the MD40H has a fixed rear flange enabling a component to pass through the center, such as a heater module, a feedthrough, a second MagiDrive rotary feedthrough or a cold lance.
Rotary Concept
The UHV Design Ltd. MagiDrive utilizes magnetic coupling between the Outer Magnetic Thimble and Inner Magnetic Assembly to convey rotary motion through a sealed flanged housing (shown in grey). For the hollow version of this drive, the sealed body consists of both a Mounting Flange and a static Rear Flange which allows the user to connect additional services through the center of the drive. This additional service may be a secondary axis of motion, electrical feedthrough, or any other customer specific demands.
