Rf All-metal Gate Valve (Series 471)

Used as sector valve in storage rings of synchrotrons and particle accelerators. The special RF aperture minimizes the RF resistance in the open valve position and provides electrical contact between the flanges. Sectors of storage rings can be leaktightly isolated.
