Calculated value with conductance of 56 S m /mm² at 20°C.

Max. Current depends strongly on use, especially for vacuum applications. If a coil is formed, a temperature test should be done. As an approximation, 1/3 of the given current can be assumed. As the heat dissipation is very low in vacuum, the cables will get hot with continuous use at the given values.

Max. Voltage in Air is significantly lower. KJLC does not recommend these wires for air use.

The electrical and thermal ratings specified are of safe operating limits determined by various factors including material properties, mechanical design, and the intended operating environment. All electrical ratings are based on operation with one side in dry atmosphere and the other side in vacuum of less than 1 x 10^-4 Torr.
